Coyote Creek to do Fundraiser at Rock the Amp Summer Concert Series 8-3-19!

Dallas Summer Concert Series is going to be a great time tomorrow night! Coyote Creek will be performing at 6:00 pm followed by Oregon's own Kurt Van Meter Band at 8:00 pm! Yesterday the Visitors Center received an email from a band member of Coyote Creek. He indicated that his band loves to give back to the communities in which they perform and asked us if there is one that we could suggest for them. We promptly told him the story of Olivia Lynn Farrow, the Dallas toddler who has fought cancer 3 times in her short 3 years, only to succumb to it on Tuesday July 30th. The Dallas Community has been an incredible source of support for Olivia's Family and Coyote Creek would like to add to that support! The band will be raffling off Coyote Creek merchandise at the concert tomorrow night. They will have raffle tickets available for purchase and will call out winners during their show. Make sure to get your raffle tickets for a chance to win some swag and support a Dallas Family at the same time! About Coyote Creek: Coyote Creek is a hot Country Music act hailing from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. The band is made up of a dynamic, professional group of musicians who provide the highest caliber live performances. Both musically and visually entertaining, Coyote Creek brings a wide array of original songs and classic Country covers that will appeal to audiences of all persuasions.

Front and center on the stage for Coyote Creek is talented vocalist Kelli McIntosh. Kelli McIntosh has been singing ever since she can remember, and when the call came to join Coyote Creek as the lead-vocalist, it was only logical to seize the opportunity. Kelli grew up in the small town of Troutdale. After graduating college at Arizona State University, she is now ready to hit the road and fulfill her dreams of continuing her singing career. Coming from a background filled with many different choirs and theatrical productions, Kelli's warm vocals and show will keep the crowd howling for more.

The band's bottom end and soaring vocal harmonies are flawlessly delivered by bassist Rik Bartel. A Salem native, Rik has provided driving bass lines for acts such as Wild Dogs and 5 O'Clock Charlie. Rik is an outstanding bass player, vocalist and songwriter whose abilities are truly an asset to Coyote Creek.

Holding down rhythm, acoustic and electric guitar work, Tommy Pierson brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. Tommy was born in Long Beach Wash., and began playing guitar in 1970. Soon he was playing in bands and at 13, began working in clubs, and playing live since. He's played in such acts as "CRYSYS" a Portland Oregon 80's original rock band with a large West coast following, "Slick Mister", and most recently, Salem, Oregon's "Phamous Phaces." Tommy has also been known to destroy perfectly good guitars at shows.

Coyote Creek's guitar sound is rounded out by versatile lead guitarist John Anderson. Originally from Roseburg John moved to the Portland area to pursue his musical aspirations with noted acts Jesus Presley and the Bottom Line, finally joining forces with Coyote Creek to complement their sound with well-crafted leads and a wide array of colors and tones.

Drum and percussion duties are readily handled by Ryk Hoffert. No stranger to performing, Ryk has performed with many notable Northwest acts such as The Bottom Line and Trial by Fire. A refined and balanced drummer, Ryk delivers the no-nonsense rhythmic foundation of Coyote Creek.

Robert Lee serves up piano and Hammond riffs. A versed keyboard player for 25 years, Robert has spent countless hours on stage with local and regional acts. The recording studio has been familiar territory, recording tracks for artists as well as producing radio commercials.
